Sienna Jacob is an Eritrean-American filmmaker and photographer based in London. She completed an MA in Filmmaking – Directing Fiction at Goldsmiths, University of London. Her work spans fiction and documentary influenced forms, with a focus on identity, power, and lived experience
Prior to working in film, Sienna completed a BA in Photojournalism and Documentary Photography, where her final major project was selected as a highlight of the University of the Arts London 2020 Graduate Show by the Evening Standard. She has also worked as Editor-in-Chief of the first edition of 2001 Magazine, which was profiled by the Columbia Journalism Review.
She is currently developing new short-form work that blends narrative and documentary approaches.
